Instructions
STEP 1: Make bowel movement onto Collection Paper
1. Take collection paper out of the envelope.
2. Peel off cover strip from the tape on each end of the paper.
3. Lift toilet seat. Spread paper across the bowl.
4. Secure the paper onto one side first by placing adhesive tabs on the sides of the toilet rim, then secure the other side.
5. Make bowel movement onto the collection paper.
NOTE: Do not allow collection paper or feces to come into contact with toilet water or urine. The sample should not be tested if it becomes wet or contaminated. If this happens, place a clean tissue on the collection paper, then collect new feces sample for testing.
STEP 2: Stool Sample Collection
1. Unscrew the Sampler Cap from the Collection tube. Do not spill or pour out the liquid.
2. With the stool still on the collection paper, randomly poke the grooved end of the Sampler in at least 6 different sites of the
stool. Do not scoop.
3. Insert the Sampler back into the Collection tube and firmly tighten screw cap. Do not reopen.
4. Shake the tube vigorously to mix the stool and test solution.
STEP 3: Testing (Stool Sample Application on the Test Device) and Reading the Result
1. Remove test device from foil pouch and place on level surface, window side up as shown below.
2. Screw off the clear tip on top of the Cap on the sample collection tube and add 3 drops of sample solution into the sample application well marked “S”.
Caution: Hold the tube vertically above the sample well without touching the well and add 3 free flowing drops onto the well.
3. Read the test result in 5-10 minutes. Important: Do not read the result after 10 minutes. The results are invalid after 10 min.
HOW TO READ THE RESULTS
Positive: Two reddish colored lines, one at the Test position (T) and the other at the Control position (C).
Negative: Only one reddish colored line at the Control position (C), with
no distinct colored line at the Test position (T).
Invalid: A distinct colored line at the Control position (C) should always appear. The test is invalid if no line forms at the Control position. If the result is invalid, test again with a new test device.
